Culinary Curiosities: Discover the mysterious history of Cozido à Portuguesa, one of Portugal’s most typical dishes, with its roots perhaps coming from Spain. In the 17th century, the cook of the Royal House, Domingos Rodrigues, considered “Cozido à Portuguesa” to be a very rich dish, full of partridges, rabbits and pigeons.
